👋 Welcome to AI Central,
You finally sit down to work on your quarterly update and there’s a lot to cover. So you put everything into one prompt and ask AI to handle it.
You get 900 words back but somehow, it still doesn’t help you decide anything. The problem is that you're asking AI to do too much at once.
In today's guide, we'll break that work into five smaller prompts so you can build the update step by step instead of trying to get everything right in one go`
Big hug and love you ❤️
Kris & The AI Central Team
P.S. We're building this with you - so if you're loving it (or have any suggestions) leave us a review here
🎯 By the end of this guide, you'll be able to: tell which jobs are too big to ask for in one message, run one of them as a sequence of 5 steps where each step feeds the next, and place the cuts so the pieces assemble into one document instead of a pile.

📝 The 5 messages, ready to paste
Pick one real piece of work for this week. Run these in order, in the same chat and read each answer before you send the next.
Here's my material for [the deliverable]: [paste]. Don't write anything yet. List the facts in it, mark which ones a [board / client / team] would treat as most important, and tell me what's missing that they'd expect to see.
Working only from that list, give me the section headings. For each section, write the one sentence it has to land.
Write [the hardest section] in full, at the depth I'd have to defend in the room.
What would the most sceptical person reading this attack first? List the objections. Don't rewrite anything.
Revise that section to answer the objections. Then write the remaining sections, following the structure I approved and matching that section's style.
Change the brackets in message 1 first. Everything after it builds on what you give it there.
📓 5 steps for jobs too big for one prompt
Inside this guide you will learn:
Section | What you can do by the end |
|---|---|
16.1 One enormous request buys one thin answer | Spot the tell - everything covered, nothing actually argued |
16.2 The thinness has 3 causes | Name which of the three is biting, and why a bigger model didn't fix it |
16.3 Five messages, one board update | Run gather, structure, draft, critique, revise on a real piece of work |
16.4 Cut where you'd hand the work to a person | Place the cuts so the pieces fit together, and know the two times not to cut |
You'll need: one real deliverable from your desk that's too big to ask for in a single message. A board update, a competitive review, a strategy memo you'll have to defend.
