👋 Welcome to AI Central,
Your AI probably remembers a lot about you now: your job, your tone, maybe even your dog’s name (hey, buddy!).
What it doesn’t know is what this task needs - whichever one is currently sitting on your desk. Who’s going to read it, what you’re trying to get done, and whether you want six bullets or a page. Leave those out and it fills the gaps with most average answer it can find - not exactly what we want… That’s where the “beige” replies come from.
Think you’ve got this nailed? Try the colleague test. Could a new hire do the job with only the words you typed? If they’d need to ask you a question first, today’s guide is your fix.
Big hug and love you ❤️

🎯 By the end of this guide, you'll be able to: look at a flat answer and name the missing piece behind it, rewrite the task in under a minute so it lands, and stop spending time on prompt tricks that don’t work.

What most people type:
"Write a summary of our Q3 marketing results."
Nine words, nothing wrong with any of them. It’s just missing everything the AI can’t see, so it guesses.
What to type instead:
“I’m [your role] at [type and size of company]. [Who’s reading] needs this for [the moment: meeting, email, board pack], and they care about [what matters to them]. Here are the numbers: [paste them]. Write [the task] as [format: 6 bullets / a 3-line email / a table], each [rule, i.e. one claim with its number], in plain language.
Context: who are you are and who it’s for
Task: one verb, one job
Format: the shape it arrives in
Always paste your real figures. If you don’t, it will make some up (and the boss won’t be happy about that).
Our library has 1,200+ tutorials built the same way, for sales outreach, proposals, agents, and research.
